The votemaster is back
Andrew S Tanenbaum's blog on the state of the US presidential race provides a comprehensive roundup of the latest opinion polls. Even if you are mildly interested in / concerned about Trump becoming president, add Electoral-Vote.com to your favourites. I have been following this site for 12 years and it always gives the clearest indicators of what the likely outcome would be should the general election be held now. On current polls, it appears that Hilary would have a fairly comfortable lead in the electoral college, the only outcome that matters come election night. The US election is ultimately 50 state elections, all carrying different levels of importance. The intriguing poll so far has Hilary winning in North Carolina, which would indicate a good night for her on November 8th. Start to get worried if more than one of the mid-western states, like Michigan, turns red.
