Welcome to a weekly review of podcasts, which I will try to post at least once a week.
For some Common Sense views on race relations and on collective memory, try Dan Carlin's occasional series that forms a stream of consciousness about whatever it is he is thinking. I like his comparison of the electorate to that of a patient who undergoes electric shock therapy. It helps one understand why so many people believe the UK was in recession in 2010, hence the greater likelihood that Labour would be blamed for a condition that existed after the Conservative coalition took office.
Dan Carlin's other podcast, Hardcore History, is arguably even better. His recent 6 part series on World War One is a tour de force.
