I have been trying out Microsoft's Office suite of apps for iPad. Now that creating, editing, and storing documents on Dropbox are all included free, I was hoping they would form a more compelling option than Apple's iWork apps like Pages. I like how nice Word is to use - especially the easy access to all the editing tools. Pages requires you to go on a search for some of the most simple necessities like inserting bullet points. With Word, it is all just there at the top. However, there are still a few things missing that makes we wary of going all in. You can't seem to open documents in other apps. If I edit in Pages, I can save in a number of places without having to email myself back thto document and then opening it up in another app. This convenience is important.
